This course is designed to teach prospective real estate agents the theory and principles of real estate. The objectives of this course are to familiarize the student with the basic principles involved in real estate sales, law and mathematics in order to satisfy the mandatory 99 hour educational requirements of the Delaware Real Estate Commission. Graduates of this program will be eligible to take the Delaware Real Estate Licensing Examination for Salespersons. Students have the option of attending the entire 99 hour session or just the Law Portion of the class. Cost: Entire Session - $425.00 Law Portion - $269.00

There will be all types of activities and entertainment by real “Cowboys and Indians” featuring whip cracking and ceremonial Indian dances. This event invites the 50+ mature adult population as well as members and prospective members of CHEER to enjoy health education and health professionals on site to answer your questions. Special attraction of the day will be the Introduction of CHEER’s new Life Care Village, a new 50+ community. The Frontier Festival will be held at the Warren L. and Charles C. Allen, Jr. CHEER Community Center, 20520 Sand Hill Road, Georgetown, DE, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. ~~~ CHEER is a non-profit agency which has served Sussex County’s seniors since 1971. The Lewes Chamber of Commerce presents the Annual BOAST THE COAST event that takes place in Lewes on Saturday, September 30th with maritime-themed activities throughout the day. The Boast the Coast activities in 1812 Park and at the City Dock take place from 11 am – 3 pm. At the City Dock, next to the drawbridge, free tours will be conducted on the New Jersey Tall Ship and short History Tours leaving on the Cape Water Taxi at 11 and 1. Also in 1812 Park will be a seafood tasting from 11:30 – 1:30 and in the park and children’s activities. New this year is Lewes' Oktoberfest, taking place in Lewes Canalfront Park from 2 – 6 pm. This new event will be featuring a German OomPah Band, German dancing, food and libations! Other events taking place on September 30th include the Historic Lewes Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to Noon at Shields Elementary School parking lot, Lewes Historical Society Craft Show on their Campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Lewes in Bloom Fall Plant Sale on Second Street in front of Citizens Bank beginning at 8:30 a.m., the Zwaanendael Museum Maritime Program at 2 p.m. and the Historic District Merchants’ Fall Sidewalk Sale from 10 – 5 p.m.

The Happy Wanderers, a 16 piece German Band and the “Bairisch und Steierisch” German dancers will perform at the event.
