July 6, 10:00am - 12:00pm

The Freeman Stage 31750 Lake View Drive

This performance is recommended for ages 3 and up. The Jungle Book is based on Rudyard Kipling's fanciful stories of India. The kindly old wolf, Akela, and the steadfast bear, Baloo, rescue a baby who is lost in the jungle. They protect Mowgli, the "man cub," from the tiger, Shere Khan, and raise the boy, teaching him the ways of the jungle. Adding to the fun are Tabaqui the Hyena, Kaa the Snake, Bagheera the Panther and Bandar the Monkey.
Two actors play all the characters in this delightful 50-minute production, designed for family audiences, ages three and up. The script for The Jungle Book is one 32 “duet” shows based on classic children’s stories and folktales by RSCT co-founders, Elise and Steve Seyfried. BYOC- Bring Your Own Chair. Children age 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult.
