Nassau Valley Vineyard boasts one of the most unique winery tours in North America. Its five gallery, self-guided museum chronicles everything from the 8,000-year history of wine to how the vineyard grows in the modern day. All of this is portrayed through photographs, illustrations and artifacts, as well as the vineyard's very own processing equipment.
The first exhibit gallery of the tour also houses an art gallery where every month a new exhibit features the work of regional artist. A "Meet The Artist" reception is held at the beginning of the show and is always open the public.
Visitors may take self-guided tours and participate in wine tastings anytime during operational hours at no cost. For a more in depth tour, guided group tours are also offered for motorcoaches and other groups of 15 or more people. The guided tours are only offered Tuesday through Thursday and are available by appointment only. The cost is $7 per person and includes a Nassau Valley Vineyard etched crystal tasting glass as a gift.
Educational seminars are offered as well as touring the vineyards and wine cellar during the season (April through September). Please call for specific dates and times. Specialty tastings, and food & wine pairings are also available.
