Bethany Beach Trolley
The Bethany Beach Trolley runs seasonally from the Friday before Memorial Day through mid-September. Regular daily service operates from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with trolleys departing the Atlantic & Garfield stop on the half hour beginning at 9:30 a.m.
After approximately 9:00 p.m., the trolley shifts from the fixed route to late-evening drop-off service. Riders should use the Garfield Parkway stop for late service; the last pickup from Garfield Parkway is 9:45 p.m. There may be little or no service during daily driver breaks from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The trolley is free to ride. During regular service, riders may flag down the trolley anywhere along the fixed route when the driver can stop safely, except on Route 26, Route 1, and Jefferson Bridge Road.
