Coastal Highway Beach Bus
Ocean City Transportation operates the Coastal Highway Beach Bus between the South Division Street Transit Station and the 144th Street Transit Station. During the 2026 summer season, service is scheduled from May 22 through September 13, running from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. approximately every 15 minutes, with no bus service from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Fall service is scheduled from September 14 through October 25, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. approximately every 30 minutes, with no bus service from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The standard fare is a $4 Ride-All-Day pass. Half fare is $2 for seniors age 65 and older, disabled persons, and Medicare card holders. Children 42 inches in height and under, ADA Certified Disabled card holders, and Ocean City Resident Senior Citizen Bus Pass holders ride free with proof of eligibility when required. West Ocean City Park & Ride
The West Ocean City Park & Ride provides free parking with Beach Bus shuttle service to and from the South Division Street Transit Station. The Park & Ride is also a connection point for Shore Transit when Ocean City Beach Bus service is not operating.
During posted Park & Ride Beach Bus service dates, service runs approximately every 20 minutes from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Service ends at 10:00 p.m. on the Sunday of Springfest, Bikefest, and Sunfest, and ends one hour after show end for Oceans Calling and Country Calling.

Express Beach Bus Shuttle
Ocean City also operates Express Beach Bus shuttle service for select special events, connecting temporary satellite parking areas with event locations. Riders should check the official service schedule for current dates, event stops, and hours.

ADA Para Transit
Ocean City Transportation offers origin-to-destination ADA Para Transit service for disabled residents and visitors during the same operating days and hours as the fixed-route Coastal Highway Beach Bus. The fare is $4 Ride-All-Day, and trip reservations must be made by 4:00 p.m. the day before travel.
Eligible riders may call Ocean City Transportation Dispatch at 410-723-1606 to reserve service. Ocean City also offers MEDTRN medical appointment transportation for ADA-qualified Ocean City residents.

Regional Transit Connections
DART First State Route 208 provides seasonal Beach Bus service between Ocean City and the Delaware beach towns. Shore Transit provides regional service for Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties, including Salisbury, Ocean City, and Pocomoke connections.
